Hey guys I just bought a R9 280x twin frozr from Amazon. I installed it and what a pain in the ass switching from nvidias to this.

But my problem is no matter what game I play, as soon as it hits 70 degrees it crashes my computer. Every single time. Im racking my brain here.

My specs:
-Antec 1200v2 case with 7 fans blowing in from the front out through the back.
-Asus p8z77vle mother board
-Intel i5-3570k
-Corsair ax750 psi
-16 gigs of corsair vengence 1600 ram
-western digital black 1tb hd
-windows 7 64 bit professional

And I had a evga gtx 560 with no issues. I just wanted to upgrade to the 280x and I feel like I'm screwed now.

Any help would be great!!!

Thanks guys :)

None. Literally tried six games, archage was the worst. Literally went to 70 degrees in character loading screen then crashed.

I'm questioning since this was a used card from Amazon whether the thermal compound is bad.

But the rest of my system is fine. It's only in games I have issues.
