I want to get this graphics card but i heard there are alot of problems with artifacts. Have the newest drivers fixed this issue? Also i would like to know if anyone recommends this product. Preferably if someone has had this card for 6 months or longer, let me know if it is worth getting and tell me your opinions. Thank you :)

you have to be more specific. MSI has like 8 version of that card. but for the most part they have horrible reviews from verified buyers on newegg and amazon.

from what i gather the artifacts and even failing cards are due largely to the poorly designed aftermarket coolers. the Asus Direct CU version of the 280x also seems to be suffering the same fate.

on the other hard, the gigabyte 280x seems to be getting mostly praise.

in any case. i think it is safe to say with this generation of high end GPUs we are looking at least 1 RMA at some point of ownership. i have two GTX 780 ACX cards. they have near perfect reviews and one of mine just blew up recently. literally blew up in the case with little bits of plastic laying around...
