msi r9 290 or asus strix 970..

hi guys im currently thinking if getting a gtx 970 is worth it or just stick with my MSI r9 290.. im compairing both cards .. MSI r9 290 and Asus strix 90.. question guys,, is it worth getting strix 970? i know 970 is a great card. but since i have 290 maybe its not that big of a difference? thnks..

theres not a lot between them if im honest. the 970 does have a more efficient power draw, but perfomance wise. some games the 970 will win others the r9 290...
so all you would really be doing is swapping like for like and paying 250+ to do it.

for what you have now mate. you may as well wait. the new chips are only a couple of months away and in that time there wont be any new games out that your current card wont max out...
