I would go with Sapphire 290 Tri-x , i actually own it myself. Why not gtx 780? Simply because R9 290 is better, check out the benchmarks. Why Sapphire and not Msi? Msi runs alot hotter then Sapphire does. It's all out there on youtube etc. So you can see for yourself. I am not an Amd fan boy, i am just like you, lookin' for most bang for the buck

i have heard something else, i am using an MSI and its only getting a MAX of 75 Celcius, but it also depends of the Cabinet of your PC
