In a physics-based game like Minecraft, the GPU doesn't have a significant impact on your frame count. A beefy CPU and at least 6-8GB of RAM is needed for a nice lag-free experience.

Your 6-core CPU is perfectly fine, the RAM is slightly lacking. I'd recommend 8GB or more in any fairly modern rig.

How many are you getting? And what resolution are you playing on?

Wow. I wasn't expecting that.

I've never heard of that manufacturer before in my life! Why did you skimp on the PSU when you built it (unless if it was prebuilt)? Always get a good quality PSU when you have fairly power-hungry components.

And sorry to 'SPAWN OF II' for not understanding from your viewpoint.

I use a Pentium G3258 for my HTPC; it gets anywhere from 70-300 FPS (1080p) with render distance set to medium. It runs a Sapphire R9 380 2GB.

Though its cores aren't as efficient as the Pentium's, it has 6 of them (what I'm saying is that it should tear through games like Minecraft with ease).

So whats my problem what am i doing wrong

What I'm saying is that your PSU is poor quality and you should replace it as soon as possible. It could be a possible fire hazard, and I'm telling you this from experience (there was no fire, just smoke/burning smell).

When did you build/buy this PC?
