Hi, I wan't to get a msi r9 390, but the dba is not so silent, and I am going to use case fans that run at 25dba, so will I be able to mod the panel with the fans and exchange them with these or something the same size with at most 25dba
Ok whats the problem... Seams be fine. The noctua have rubber. They are low-profile that means no noise at all. Go for it.
thanks for answering, for I have never changed fans on a gpu, let alone have a msi r9 390, so can you give me an in depth explanation on how to do it/a link for something like this, I know how to remove the msi fans somewhat, but not completely.
You can't change fans on a GPU because there not GPU fan products out there to replace. In case you have to unscrew the GPU fan and take it out. Such GPUs are noisy from the beginning you have only buy case fans with rubber to reduce overall noise and thats it.
Just bear in mind that any modifications to the card itself will void the warranty, if you decide to carry out this work, attach the fans with cable ties so they can be easily removed, leaving no trace of your activities. 😉

thanks, I am not sure if I will be modding it now, I will want to run games as graphically intensive or less as trove
Just overclock the GPU or let it as it is and don't care about the fan noise. You can just adjust the volume of the games more than the noise of the computer and don't listen at it or take the PC case away from near you to reduce the noise when the volume of your speakers is not so loud.
