I am thinking of buying the PCS+ (PowerCooler) version of R9 390 since its 2000 INR (30$) cheaper than the MSI R9 390
I have heard people saying that MSI is better than PCS+

I don't want to regret buying the wrong brand of an awesome card for a 30$ price gap
What should i do?

Also do MSI and PCS+ have its own software for viewing graphics card status and stuff?
If they do, which one is better?

Solution
Absolutely nothing wrong with the powercolor card , its on a par with the MSI IMO for just about everything.

Up to you whether you want to spend the extra $30 on the MSI , I personally wouldn't.

Okay so,

Specs:

Intel I5 6600K 3.5 Ghz
MSI Z170 Gaming M5
PCS+ R9 390 or MSI R9 390 (Yet to decide)
Corsair CX750
Gskill RipJaws V 16GB 2400 Mhz
WD Green Caviar 2TB HDD
CM Hyper 212X or Deepcool Frostwins CPU Cooler (Yet to decide)
Corsair Carbide Spec-03

Why R9 390? 2 Reasons

Well it was that or GTX970
Both GTX 970 and AMD R9 390 run most current games at equal fps if sometimes not better on different games varying on the titles.

(1)
But,
The GTX 970 has 3.5 GB of VRAM vs. The 8GB on R9 390
True that the most games on the market don't use that much of a VRAM and makes the 8GB VRAM on R9 390 look like a marketing gimmick since both perform almost equally, Even so newer games may take VRAM that's more than 3.5GB

(DO watch this: LINK)

So again, New games may take up more VRAM than 3.5GB especially at the speed Games are evolving right now. Its most probably will!

(2)
Also there the new DX12!!

(Again to fully understand my answer watch this : LINK )

AMD's architecture is more compatible to DX12 then Nvidia's so more futureproofing
(Although the newer DX12 is said to use less VRAM, I would still prefer to be on the safe side for the same price point)

Conclusion:
So, At this point of time the R9390 makes more sense with the more VRAM which future games might need and the DX12 leaning more towards AMD's architecture.
Ergo R9390 more futureproof than GTX970 card which may or may not perform as good in newer games that too at the same price point

This PSU does seem better

And about the GTX1070 & 1080. They are gonna be 500-600$. And in India it will be more like 50-60K. That is when it arrives (possibly after 6-7months). So even if i do wait, this is half the price and even so i know that i as a broke a** student am never gonna buy a GPU worth 50K

Hmm, get that PSU and along with it a GTX 980Ti, quite cheap nowadays, check ebay. It upto to you to decide considering its looks.
