MSI R9 390X Overheat

So.. I came home today, started up my PC and it was more silent than usual, but I ignored it. I launch my game and wait 5 minutes, I hear the GPU's fans go to 100% for few seconds, then turning off again. My MSI Afterburner keeps resetting and doesn't go on Auto mode. Everything started happening after installing AMD Crimson. This is the second time temperatures have hit over 95C after installing it.

Get off of that firmware ASAP.

It's not firmware, it's the new Crimson drivers.
A hotfix has already been released.
Update the driver and if there is still and issue then start checking other stuff.
