i already bought the gpu and i am waiting for delivery propably tomorrow, with another KINGSTON HX318C10FK2/8 8GB (2X4GB) DDR3 1866MHZ HYPERX FURY BLUE SERIES DUAL CHANNEL KIT.

both of them will be fit on a system with AMD A8 6600k with another exact same set of RAM KIT,
1 X 1TB HDD, a simple DVD/RW, and a pci-e wireless adapter. My PSU is this one here http://www.thermaltake.de/products-model.aspx?id=C_00001782 a very solid one 80 plus.
i really dont remember i M/B model right know.

Got very confused today because i read some articel about this card suggesting minimum 500 Watt PSU but on another articel that i read before i bought it suggested only a 425 Watt PSU without even the quotes "minimum".

i could use some help here, even if from my point of view calculating more or less my power consumption i would say i am fine, but you never know.

Thank you in advance for any reply!

Regards.

430w minimum, from a good unit

thermaltake sells some good units, the tr2 series are not

tier 1 or 2 unit from this list 450w or better:

Mine its not a tr2 unit so its says anyway.

the CPU's TDP is 100 Watt lest say if i ever stress him he will never exceed 130 Watt

the GPU can consume up to 170 Watt peak

the RAM 12 Watt

the wireless adapter cannot exceed 15 Watt right?

the M/B is propably about 25 - 30 Watt

the HDD 20 Watt aprox.

the DVD/RW 20 Watt approx.

the fan aprox 2 Watt

mouse and keyboard not up to 6 Watt

not including any future USB device the sum goes about 400 WATT. in other words i am well over 80% of the PSU's wattage and totally frustrated.
have the boxes with the new parts on the shelf and looking for a PSU replacment now. no review except one that i found write the gpu's peak wattage.
