Msi Radeon r9 290 twin frozr vs xfx radeon r9 290x

I have been looking at these two graphics card and i see that they are both around the same price, however the xfx is a cheaper brand with a better chip set. So should i go with the better rated Msi brand with the lower chip set or the cheaper brand with the higher chip set?

Depends what you want. If you want performance, obviously go for the higher chipset. If you want cooler, stable temperatures (Which might allow you to overclock) go with the MSI. I would pick MSI because I can OC it and I like a bit more cooling. As I said, it is your choice though.
