I've seen enough commentary on OC forums that I'd wait until someone goes through and tests this thoroughly before updating personally. A couple of professional OCers were pointing people to IME downgrades due to memory latency issues being caused. MSI may not have any issues as their BIOS was just released, but given that the other manufacturers betas did it's certainly plausible.

I got the 0x114 bios on my z890 Hero and it has been an absolute disaster for memory overclocking and memory in general. Every bios update on the hero has gotten worse and worse for memory speeds. Several of my kits won't even boot at XMP anymore and I never had issues with them on any of my z790 boards. But msi support gave me the unreleased 0x114 bios for my z890 Unify-X and it seems solid so far. My 8400 cudimms are stable.
