Hello to the community. Happy new year to everyone, fully of health. I own an MSI 3080Ti Gaming X Trio. The thing is that 1 of my fans (the right one) is making an annoying noise while spinning. It doesn't happen always but when it does i can't stand it. Now i have 3 pieces of Electrical/Insulating tape on it so it won't spin. Is there a solution? Will i have problem with heating?

Replace the fan. You can contact MSI, they might send you one, or you can have the entire card looked at by them.

Or you can see if anyone sells a compatible replacement similar to these:

Not really a good idea to keep it locked in place either. That means that current has been trying to flow through only one of poles in the windings, constantly. They aren't really designed for that. A better idea would have been to unplug it.

Yes, having one less fan won't be good for temperatures, but the GPU will just throttle earlier.
