Question MSI RTX 5070 TI powered by MSI - MPG A1000GS PCIE5 using 12V-2x6 Cable

Can we use the 12V-2x6 Cable to power the GPU instead of using the Y-Cable?
You mean the adapter that adapts PCIe connectors to a 12v-2x6 connector? If so, that's meant for PSU's that lack a native harness for the 12v-2x6 connector. Since your PSU has one out of the box, yes you should take advantage of it.

Just make sure the connector is fully seated on both the PSU's end and the GPU's end.

Thank you.

While I've built a handful of AM4 rigs I'm new to AM5 and the guy I was trying to help insisted that the GFX card included Y-Cable was meant to be used. This is the first GFX card and PSU I've seen with a 12v-2x6 connection. Now I know lol.

On a side note if you feel like giving some advise on a case fans thingy let me know.
