[SOLVED] MSI RX 470 Armor OC DVI-D to VGA and HDMI to VGA Active adapters not working

Hello.

I have an RX 470 armor oc 4gb. It has 1 HDMI port, 1 DVI-D Dual link port, 2x display port. Problem is I have an HDTV at 1080p 60hz. When I use an HDMI cable, the output is too sharp and seems like the problem is with the tv so I am using VGA. I bought 2 ACTIVE adapters, 1 DVD-D DL to VGA and 1 HDMI to VGA however, none of them works. If I use HDMI cable there is output on Monitor. I plan to buy a DP Port to VGA Active adapter however, I am not sure if it will work as well.

Any advise?

In case someone stumbles upon the same issue. I have resolved mine by purchasing a display port to vga. HDMI to VGA with external power works as well.
