MSI RX580 or ASUS STRIX 970

I have VERY good deals for both but i dont know which to choose. RX is 8gb, and preforms slightly better over the 970, but i am currently with a 1050ti and i dont really enjoy the hassle with switching to amd. I also know about the tdp difference but i think ill be fine with my 480W fsp psu. I need some advice pls.

Go with AMD, the 970 is still not as new as the 580 and as you stated the 580 is slightly better with performance. But if you're going to use NVIDIA features such as shadow play I'd go with the 970.
