fx 4300 mid range games (bf4, Rocket league, CSGO etc...)
So...I'm very confused as to how smart fan works. I set my target temp at 40 or 45 Celsius.
My theory was that as the fan reached certain temperatures, the fans would slowly spool up. For example; if my processor gets to 35 Celsius, the fans spool up a bit, maybe to half speed or something, and they slowly get faster, and then in the case that my processor reaches 45 Celsius, my fans would sped up to 100%.
This, however is not the case. When I'm gaming, my fans rest at minimum. (12.5%) When the processor reaches about 40 degrees, my fans then spool up to 100%. There is no phases in between. The fans just go straight to 100%.
Am I doing something wrong or is this the best smart fan can do? This is really a problem because my case heats up a lot and gets hot to the touch, which heats up my room. Also, the fans heat up my room, causing it to get very hot...
