Hi All - Bit of a weird one. I have an MSI pre-built system and the AIO pump failed on it. I was getting constant overheating and temps in the 90's. I ordered the Kraken Elite 240mm from Amazon and installed it. The system boots up fine. I have tried connecting the Kraken to both the CPU_Fan and AIO PUMP plugs, same result. The system also has five fans from the stock MSI system and the stock MSI RGB controller that I left on as the Kraken only had 1 more fan connection available.

Pump appears to be working, fans turn on. I get into my PC, but my bluetooth lags horrendously which is how my keyboard and mouse work. Ironically, my mouse skips around intermittently, but my keyboard flat out goes entire periods of disconnecting and then reconnecting and spamming the last letter typed. FPS on games seems fine, but they aren't playable due to the bluetooth issue.

Until installing this cooler, they all worked beautifully. Any thoughts on this one? I have NOT installed the NZXT software yet as I have heard it can cause issues as well in doing my research tonight.

Any ideas what may be causing this? I've seen there may be software interference with the MSI RGB and system software, but no idea.

I have ordered an MSI CoreLiquid D240 as well en route, but would prefer to resolve without this one if possible. Will return the Kraken and keep it all on an MSI ecosystem if required.

Truly appreciate any help you can provide! I'm stumped.

As a side note, I left the MSI fans and MSI RGB/fan controller plugged in as they came - the wires were pretty tucked in so I didn’t remove those. Unsure if that’s a contributing factor to this or not.

For anyone else who may come across this with a similar situation, it turns out there is a sharkfin antenna. I thought this was WiFi only, so left it unplugged. Turns out this is also a bluetooth receiver. Plugging that in, both work wonderfully!
