I was wondering does the MSI Z390 Gaming Edge AC have the ability to add and support thunderbolt 3 port for external drives?

how stable would that thunderbolt connection then be? I'm a video editor so the last thing I want is a drive disconnecting mid edit.

which drive needs thunderbolt? drive stability would be same as with usb
tbh tb3 compatibility is actually hit and miss...which device you want to connect? so i can check how compatibility goes with it

I'm looking at getting a LaCie 6big raid drive

i couldnt find any results with compatibility issues with external TB3 cards

Well I'm not sure about the TB3 driver and the TB3 Firmware but would it be wise to update the BIOS? I had to do that early in 2020 cause my computer kept BSodding and that fixed my problem and I'd be really hesitant to do that again.
