[SOLVED] MSI Trident 3 Motherboard HDMI not working

Hello i have a MSI trident 3. Im wishing to Connect a Third monitor. My Motherboards HDMI plug is not working. I cannot find the option to Turn it on in the BIOS.

It is NOT the VR LINK HDMI but the One Next to the Power Socket stating HDMI. I know the VR LINK one is a HDMI IN port for the HDMI OUT port on the front of the machine. There is the Third HDMI port on the Back of the machine which im guessing is for when i dont have a GPU inserted. But i cant turn it on through BIOS.

that HDMI Port is useless if you don't have an iGP on your CPU. If it's any AMD or an Intel chip ending in F, there is no iGPU

Aside from that ^, if the motherboard does not have an option to enable onboard video with a PCIe card installed, you won't be able to use it. Contact MSI support and see what they say.

That's not correct.

There are some AMD-APUS, which do ending with G, f.i. Ryzen 5 3400G or Ryzen 7 4700G the quite new 5000G-series.
