Hello, I have an MSI K8TNeo 6702 MB with an AMD64, 512DDR.

Whenever I plug in a USB device in after the computer is on, the
screens (i have dual monitors) goes black. The computer appears to
still be on, but the hard drive LED goes solid. The only thing i can
do is hold the power button for 5 seconds, then it boots up fine, and
the devices i plugged in also work fine. This happens on both front
and back ports.

What is weird, it did this when the usb cable was barely in the slot.
It was almost like the split second the cable's connector began to
enter the port, the computer did this.

I have never had any problems before, and just installed this
motherboard a week ago.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Try a different USB device, it could be tripping the psu when you plug it
in -

If there is a wire in USP pin #10 USBOC, pull that wire out and try again.
