well in south africa the gigabyte is approx $80-100 more.

basically would there be a problem with the msi?

also i would like to know whether new games like cod ghosts, bf4, assasins creed4, arkham origins would they be able to play at 60fps on ultra? any idea why system requirements on bf4 so high? bf 3 1gb vram was enough but bf4 needs 3gb vram

thanks

Hi again - you might need to go above $150 (it seems the best values are around $160), tho there are a
couple around $150.
The AzRock extreme 6: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157295 @ $155
The Gig Z77X-UD3H @ $145 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128544
The Asus P8Z77 V-LE @ $155 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131848

Hi - No issue running any GPU (pcie 2.0, 3.0) on that mobo. And yes, the MSI card is fine.
All gtx 770 cards will perform close to each other, with minor diff due to factory OC, but
you can OC a GPU yourself. Generally the real difference comes down to noise & cooling.

The Gig with windforce cooling is prob better that the MSI, but I wouldn't pay an xtra $80.

You may not get 60 fps(on ultra) on all the new games, but the gtx780 is only approx 15% faster
but 40% more costly.
