MSI x370 SLI Plus and Corsair Vengence LPX RAM support(right now) Will this setup work?

Ryzen memory support has been pretty iffy, but I wasn't able to find any recent articles or forum posts considering ryzen memory support, now that the platform had a little more time to mature.

So I am planning to build a Ryzen system and I was wondering if this RAM(CMK16GX4M2B3000C15) is compatible at its rated speed(or close)with:
MSI x370 SLI Plus
Ryzen 5 1600 (or any ryzen processor)
Corsair Vengence LPX 16GB DDR4 3000MHZ (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15) (the ram in quesiton)

With the latest BIOS update from MSI. If you find anything please help.
I am aiming for 2933MHZ at the lowest possible CAS Latency of 15. Will that work?

There are lots of threads on here with people that have had stability problems with LPX RAM and Ryzen. Choosing one of the Ryzen specific RAM models from G-Skill or something on the vendor qualified list is the best choice.

where is that list for the MSI motherboard? and the ryzen specific gskill kits are expensive and im on a budget

With Ryzen builds, I would definitely go with the motherboard's QVL right now. I made the mistake of going with a non-QVL ram and my motherboard couldn't even run the ram in dual channel mode. Got new ram from the QVL and it worked great.
