[SOLVED] MSI X470 GAMING M7 AC with G.SKILL TridentZ RGB F4-3200C16Q-32GTZR

Hi all,

I have purchased MSI X470 GAMING M7 AC and unfortunately, I forgot to double check the RAM. So, i end up buying G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4 3200 F4-3200C16Q-32GTZR. Also, my CPU is AMD RYZEN 7 2700X.

Unfortunately, I didn't know the G.SKILL has different naming for AMD ram. In this case, instead of F4-3200C16Q-32GTZR it should be F4-3200C16Q-32GTZRX.

Do you think I will have any compatibility issues with this ram and motherboard? Will, i able to use on 3200? Or should i be worried?

Use the latest BIOS and it should be fine. Reaching DDR4-3200 may be tricky, enable XMP in BIOS, then manually lower DRAM Frequency, if necessary, until the system can boot and run properly. Let us know how it goes.
