Hey there!

Might be a silly question but I came across the Gaming Pro Max for my new build. As it is now the price is the same as a B450 Tomahawk. Is it worth getting the X470 over the B450 even though the latter is a newer production board?

I would say yes, x470 chipset MBs are usually better.
