Guys,
I'm having a boot drive issue with my new motherboard. I've taken a 960 EVO 256GB NVME SSD from my old machine with windows installed to test boot my new machine. When I go in to the BIOS it is seeing the drive, the 1GB Intel SSD I have in the other NVME slot, the 256GB SSD I have on SATA channel 3 and also the 2TB HDD attached to SATA Channel 4. I mentioned all the drives just in case I'm seeing a lane issue.
None of the drives are showing up as UEFI drives so I made sure legacy is enabled. I went in to the BBS settings and made sure the EVO was set as boot 1. When I go back to the bios main menu I can see the EVO on the boot list. When I restart the machine however it doesn't recognize the EVO and goes straight to the old no boot disk DOS message.
Any ideas what I need to change. I've googled this and there's not much out there. I found the BBS setting but that's it. MSI support is on the way possibly unless one of you has some insight.
Thanks in advance,
Jim.
