no, my problem is that I cannot get sound to come out of the rear plugs on my case... only the front plugs are giving me sound... although when I do plug in a plug into the green slot at the back, the software sees that I have pluged some thing in, and asks me what it is... I tell it the correct thing, wich is speaker out... and then, boom... no sound... I plug back in the front jacks, and my sound is fine... any clues any body...

uninstall the realtek HD Audio Manager, goto device manager, make sure that one sound driver is gone from there... reboot let windows grab drivers itself.... now, every thing works.... one last step, must update now.... insert Mobo CD in the tray re-install the media center and accompanying drivers, re-boot, update, reboot, and enjoy...
