X58 Pro vs X58 Pro-E

Right off the bat, I can tell you that the E is preferred for OC'ing if that is important to you. The E appears to be a higher-end board. But check the specs and features. the E may be more than you'll ever use.

Btw, funny you should ask about the old X58 board. I just bought a used one myself. Still on its way.

Another co-incidence. The one I'm getting is the Asus P6T (not SE).
You must have changed your mind on the MSI X58 Pro-E? But between these last two you mentioned, again... it depends on your needs vs what each board provides. Back in those days, MSI didn't have the quality it has now. I would prefer the Asus assuming they were both equally well cared for. But buying used, we take our chances.
