Hello. I have had my motherboard for a while, but after I recently reinstalled my graphics card, there has been audio, except for my USB headset. I have tested both the 3.5mm and S/PDIF optical port with multiple devices that work on other systems. To confirm that it wasn't a software/driver issue, I also tried in Ubuntu, but with no luck. The optical port does not have the usual red light that shows. I have the latest Realtek drivers from MSI's download page. Should I buy a sound card? Thanks!

My specs:

Motherboard: MSI X79A-GD45 Plus
Realtek driver: 6.0.1.7399
Nvidia driver: 355.58
Operating system: Windows 8.1 Pro 64 BIT
