This PC has been working well for a year or so but it lost video output and now on startup and after post the CPU temp reads 00, and there is no debug code for it in the manual. All fans run on startup even GPU fans. I have checked processor for bad pins and looks fine. I've started from 2 sticks of ram with same code. I have also cleared cmos and tried booting from both bios a and b.I also have replaced the battery on the motherboard. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated I also believe the processor and motherboard are still under manufactures warranty.
Specs (all but gpu and psu were purchased at the same time)
Msi x99s gaming 7 motherboard
i7 proccessor (my child moved arond boxes in closet and I will hopefully find what specific speed processor it is)
4-16gb ddr4 viper ram
evga geforce gtx 760
voltek 850w psu

Hello... start at step 1 for me... to help you please... practice make perfect... remove any cards in your MB slots GPU/sound/network/?
Let's try a proper "battery removal" AND CMOS reset Clear to the MB ...ok? B /
Take your time here and be slow and careful to your MB... look in your MB manual/Pdf for pictures and location of the switch/pins. B )
1) un-plug PS from wall.
2) remove MB battery
3) place jumper pins/switch on MB to clear the capacitors... for ~3 mins
4) remove Jumper/switch
5) re-install battery
6) plug monitor into the MB video output.
8) plug in PS to wall
9) Boot computer.

Thanks for answering!
I followed your steps but unfortunately my MB does not have a video card. So I just plugged it back into my GPU.
Unfortunately I am getting the same result. It made a different post sound but still am getting no video output and getting the debug code 00.
I'm not sure weather it is the MB or the Processor I should send in so any advice would be fantastic.

All case fans, and GPU fans all start up normally. This motherboard does not have a on board video card, it requires a Graphics card which makes things more difficult. It seems it beeps once on startup but it doesn't sound like a normal beep. I'm sorry but I have a hard time figuring out beep codes and I will try to get someone else to listen to it, I also could post an audio clip of it if it comes it. Im not sure what else I can try besides trying another GPU but even when I boot up the PC without a Graphics card in it I get the same error 00. As if the CPU temperature is 00.

Hello... THX... there is 2 kinds of beeps long beeps and short beeps... and beep messages 4-5 beeps long, and will repeat... beep wize it seems good... asking for a Video card then... lets Hope B )
Ok...if we got good fan action and they stay running... then un-plug power and install the video card and monitor next for the next re-boot ok? your doing fine... B D

You intel i7 should have a CPU IGT... GPU in the CPU now... not MB video chip.

Unfortunately there is no video port on the MB so I am unable to access the GPU in the processor. I have tried again to boot after everything using the Graphics card and am getting the same result. Even booting without the video card in I am still getting the 00 code. I'm now going to take the video card to test in another computer, and if it works I will be sending the motherboard into the manufacturer. Thank you for all the help but i'm not sure how much more I can do.

Hello... WE have Done good testing here... and it's a Communications Problem on the MB ? B / your CHIP? B /... get NEW MB with VIDEO out ports to your Video equipped CPU/IGT... B / they make a great WEB browser Dual monitor "FREE" option.

If we could get display I would say do a MB "firmware' flash... but the Display AND your Experience at this IS necessary here... Check with your Local repair shop, and show him what we have discussed B / ...and Typically he will some spare parts around for the Next level of MB or "hardware" Tests.

So after testing the PSU with a multimeter I have been unable to find any solution to the problem. I've contacted MSI and they will be looking in to the board now as they also feel the board id defective. Thanks for all the help, im glad to of been able to test as many things as possible.
