  • My system was working fine without any issue from past 3 years. 2 days ago I have shutdown system and windows 10 installed update before Shutdown. Now next day morning when I start PC it won’t boot up error code 00.

First I did reset CMOS from back MB button, didn’t work
Then took out all RAM stick then try to turn ON system now code is E0 ( as it not detect any RAM). Then I did install 1 RAM stick, now I’m getting error code 04 60 55. So I think it is related to CPU or Memory.
Then I check CPU socket for any bent pins but socket is perfect No bent pin or damage.

    My System,
    Intel core i7 5930K 4.3Ghz @1.2v
    MSI x99s Gaming 9 ACK
    Corsair vengeance LPX 32GB (8GB x4) 2400mhz
    Nvidia Titan x ( 2x SLI)
    Evga 1600W G2 power supply

  • Alright I finally figure out to boot system. When install RAM on 5th slot then system boot fine without any issue. So I install RAM 1 slot then I got 00 error no boot. Now I tried RAM on Slot 5 & 7 then system boot without any issue. Quad RAM setup not working anymore.

I update MB to latest beta Bios but still same issue. I tested each RAM on slot 5 all works fine without any problem.

  • Well I did manually check dram voltage. I noticed that Dram ch a/b @ 0.720V, while ch c/d @ 1.21V.
Hence, RAM slot 1 to 4 only getting 0.720V.
I’ve tried to increase voltage in bios but on restart ch a/b voltage stays at 0.720v.

I noticed that dram ch a/b voltage 0.600V to 1.6v consider as normal. Also both dram ch a/b & c/b Vss @ 2.5V.
Now when I start PC first it give error 00, but on second time start it start normal without any problem.

Alright I think issue related to CPU, as now dram ch a/b voltage drop to 0.220v. It may be CPU memory controller output.
Now I tried another CPU then system boot on first try.
Actually I’m confused as my same CPU tried on another motherboard and it worked too without any issue as well. I really don’t know what’s wrong with my system.
