MSI z170 gaming motherboard

Curious here. I connected everything on my system to the motherboars but at this time I have no monitor to check any visuals. I did want to power it.on to make sure it at least did that. The lights on the motherboard labeled CPU, DRAM, and VGA all lit up in succession (I assume as a test) then all went out. Is this a good sign? I checked the manual but couldn't find anything (or missed it). I just do not want to screw this up. Could someone tell me if this is a good sign?

Just wait till you get your monitor and then try it out.

I would but it's got me worried and I hate waiting. Anyone have any experience with the EZ Debug on these motherboards?

well, msi new EZ debug, only light on when CPU/GPU/memory get problems
but I will say, wait for your monitor.....and make sure you get all stuff install and connect right
