MSI Z170A Gaming 3 - RED LED

Hello Folks !

I've made a new build with MSI Z170A Gaming3. All seems to be running fine, but one thing concerns me... There's a small red LED that keeps on all the time. Does it indicate something's wrong or it's just an aesthetic feature ? I couldn't find any reference on internet.

It's hidden under the corner of the chipset, small battery like symbol with + and -.

don't worry. I called the msi call center. they said it means your computer is running fine.

Thank you Alston ! I've switched off the whole mobo lights in the meantime, because it's just disturbing, GPU logo is just fine for me...and guess what this LED is off now too. One can make assumption that this LED is not important if it can be easily switched off.. 😀
