MSI Z170A Gaming m5 motherboard problems

Hi guys! So i just upgraded some of my parts and one of them happened to be this new motherboard. My computer booted up and everything but i am having trouble downloading the drivers from the MSI CD. I tried to go download the internet drivers on an USB but when i plug in the USB, i cannot find it on the computer.

So I tried the CD over and over and restarted my pc and somehow the internet driver downloaded.
I do have 3 questioms if you domt mind.
1.Do you recommend that i download the rest of the drivers from the website?
2. I did not upgrade my hard drive, therefore it has some old ASUS mobo drivers on it. Should i delete them?
3. The MSI mobo only seems to have a slot for 3.1 USB on the front panel but my case has 3.0 USB slots on the front. Nevertheless, the plug for the 3.0 fit where the 3.1 was supposed to go. Is this unusual?

1. Yes
2. If not needing them anymore, then yes, you can delete them.
3. 3.1 Gen 1 is similar to 3.0. So nothing unusual.
