MSI Z170A Gaming M7 has no post, output or debug upon boot

I have just ordered an upgrade for my build with a MSI Gaming Z170A M7 motherboard and intel i7 6700K CPU and there is no output upon boot.

Other components:
Asus GTX 680
Kingston HyperX 16GB 2400mHz
