MSI Z170A Gaming M7 vs Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Ultra Gaming

The tiltle says it all... almoust.
It is really hard to choose between those two. Money is no issue, I just want the best one. I prefer quality and performance over bells and whistles.
Simple questions have complicated answers.

Why not get a 200 series board instead?

The 200 series motherboards aren't coming before the next year. (Am I right?) Even later to where I live. I have time to buy the mobo til the end of this year.

Yeah January 2017 is the reported release date for z270 boards. It may be worth the wait, but admittedly there wont be a great difference.

From the two listed, I would choose the MSI M7. Gigabyte probably provide better customer service but the M7 has more extensive overclocking features and supports RAID0 NVME. Bells and whistles is exactly what you are paying for at this point though, as there are cheaper boards on the market that are just as good and offer as many features. It depends what features you want to take advantage of, and what hardware you plan to use.
