MSI z170a Krait 3x

Just built a pc. My idle temps are 18-20c. Just wondering if anyone ells with this board has this issue. When I run stress tests it goes up to 45c all cores are pretty even, seems normal. I don't know if low temps are normal on this board or if its just mine.

45c is ok.

Intel chips are "OK" up to about 115 C - You don't want your CPU this high though

low temps should be ambient temperatures - your room.

Thanks for the reply, I was more concerned with the idle temps though. Sorry if my question was confusing.

If the idle temperature is close to the temperature in your room you are a ok.

Well, bios says my motherboard temp is 32c, cpu temp is 22c, but my room temp is about 70-72f.

I guess my concern is, it seems to be accurate when doing stress tests. Everything ells with the pc seems to be working fine. I just wonder if "low idle temps" would be worth RMA'ing the motherboard.

Edit: or would this even be a mb problem. Could it be a cpu problem. How could I figure that out?
