Hi,

Recently, I have acquired all of the parts needed to build a pc. The motherboard, cpu, ram, and cooler that I got was apart of another separate pc, which used integrated graphics instead of a dedicated vga. The only problem was when I built the computer, there was no display output when using the rx 580 I had in the system. However when I took it out, and used integrated graphics, the pc boots right up.

I looked around and I thought it was a lack of bios update problem, since I knew that the gpu worked fine. So, after I made and formatted a bootable usb key with the new bios file, and I go into MSI click bios 5, there is no option for m-flash anywhere. It's not in advanced or easy mode.

Do I have any alternate option for bios flashing?

Thanks

Not sure what board that is, can see MB: MS-B905. The video says MB: MSI Z170A SLI PLUS

Searching MS-B905 at MSI gives two pre-built results. Is your PC a MSI prebuilt?

If it's a prebuilt, this goes away from the standard MSI Z170A SLI PLUS motherboard, you'll have to contact MSI asking if it's possible to update your bios.
M-flash should be there? Bottom left corner above favorites.

The graphics card should be working, you checked everything was connected properly and video cable connected to the gpu?

The M-Flash option isn't even an option, on advanced where m flash should be there is just System Explorer and on EZ mode there isn't anything where it should be at all. The graphics card is correctly plugged in.

Could you upload a picture of the screen?

Something is a miss here, this video for the MSI Z170A SLI PLUS shows M-Flash quite clearly on the main screen and in Ezmode. Im wondering if you're looking for it else where or you possibly have a different board?
