MSI Z170I GAMING PRO AC displayport issue

I have an msi z170i gaming pro ac motherboard paired with a i5 6600k and 16 gb of ddr4 corsair vengance lpx ram. When i plug in the displayport in the board this images show up "http://imgur.com/a/Gxanp".
while i use HDMI port everything is fine. the cable is not faulty since it works if i plug it in my GPU.

i would think that its a bad board since it also gives me a buzzing when i use the GPU, i have tried with 2 different GPU's and they make this buzz when under load. i think it could be also caused by the motherboard. im ruling out cpu problem since the integrated graphics work fine with the HDMI port.
