I recently bought a MSI Z270 Gaming M5 motherboard to replace my broken Z170 motherboard. I have built computers for a couple of years and know the procedures that need to be taken to avoid frying the components on the motherboard. So I grounded myself opened the box and transferred everything from my old build (the broken Z170) to my new build MSI Z270 Gaming M5 motherboard and plugged it up and started it up where to my surprise it would not boot. So I opened the case and pop out the CMOS battery and reset the motherboard and it started but this time with no video and the fans that are connected to the motherboard are not spinning and the system shutdown anywhere between 1-3 min. Ok so I went a pop out the battery again and reset the CMOS and put my video card in (R9 390) and this time the computer would not even post. So I took it out and started switching the memory around and no posting. So I have come to the end of my limited knowledge and have come here looking for what you guys may know and can help me with.

What do you think the problem may be? Also I just noticed a white light by a printed word DRAM on the side of my Mobo. In the manual it is saying that it is not detected or failed. How is it that the memory is not being detected?
