MSI Z270 Gaming M7 5.1 Speaker problem

I bought a new PC with MSI Z270 Gaming M7 and I installed windows 10. Downloaded and installed all the drivers, including the Realtek Auidio. But for some reason it doesn't detect my rear/side speakers. Front speakers and subwoofer/center speakers work, I plugged them into all availabe jacks to no avail. I also tried 7.1 set up but couldn't get them to work. They were working fine on my old PC.
What might be the cause of the problem ?

I solved it by uninstalling audio drivers and installing a different version.

I am having the exact same issue! I am using driver version 6.0.1.8059 - which version did you get that fixed the problem?

There are two realtek devices under the device manager.
One of them has this : 6.0.1.8027
The other is : 10.0.14393.0
