Brand new rig:

MSI Z270 GAMING M7
i5-6700k
16 gb aegis ddr4
EVGA 1070
EVGA 850 platinum psu
Corsair liquid cooling h100v2 and case

I bought one msi motherboard but the sata connections were not able to be detected.... manufacturer's defect. Got an RMA for a new one.

Now this one won't even boot to the bios! I keep getting a slew of debug codes (initializing I suppose), but then it stops at debug code A2. All of the lights and fans stop, then after a moment the PC shuts itself back off.

Never a chance to give video output, let alone get into bios...

I've tried many things:
-reseating CPU
-replug in all of the power connections
-tried doing 4, 8, 4+4, 8+4 power connections on cpu (cpu pwr1 + cpu pwr2)
-shuffling the ram in different dimm
-trying one ram stick
-reseat GPU
-remove GPU
-take it all apart then put it back together
-try all the sata connections
-try NO sata connections
-Panic and leave everything to see if the forums can help
-reset CMOS

And now I'm here. Willing to try anything. Please help :/

Ok I am not sure what happened, but now I have a new problem!

"Over current detected on USB connections. System will now power off in 15 sec to protect main board!"

I do not know what is the issue here. I literally unplugged all of the case wiring from the motherboard and I still get this error...

All peripherals are even unplugged yet I get this error.

Wiring is ok, nothing tied nor cut. Needs to be cable managed now again...

I do not know why this error is coming and why it decided to curse me.
