MSI z270 tomahawk boot on intergraded graffics

Im building a pc and only need a gpu to compleed it
It a z270 tomahawk artic board with
Intel i7 7700k.

If i try to boot is wont. and the vga led stays on. Its checking for a gpu(that i dont have yet).

It wil boot when using a DVI card in the pci.
But is there a way to boot only on the CPU.
And noting in the pci slots

2. disconnect power cable from wall (PCc not plugged to power), open case, remove watch battery on motherboard for 3-4 mins. then put battery back in and apply power cable and boot, boot into BIOS, and make sure video choice is set to IGPU

My mistake. I meant that my pc boot when using a DVI card in the pci. Removing it and it wont boot again.

How can i make it that it wil boot using my cpu graphics. Noting in the pci

Do you use an adapter between DVI-D and monitor? Which monitor is it?

disconnect the power cord from the wall
shorten the CMOS jumper contacts for about 10seconds to clrCmos (reset BIOS)
reconnect the cord and try again

The 7700K is an APU with integrated graphics, so your motherboard connectors should work.

I dont use the DVI. My motherboard has a hdmi. That's what i use(no adapters). Is that the problem?

Reseting the cmos was the first thing i did. So no luck there

Try the DVI of the motherboard

update the BIOS using the PCI graphics card

well you must of not looked very hard in the motherboard manual then;

Boot -> Bios -> Advanced Setup -> Settings -> PEG X set to Auto.
then
Boot -> Bios -> Advanced Setup -> Integrated Peripherals -> integrated Graphic adaptor [PEG];

1. set to IGD
2. set integrated graphics share memory to as high as you can 64 or 128 probably
3. IGD multi monitor should be enabled.
save with F10 reboot
