Hi Guys

Noob PC builder. I just changed my motherboard to the msi z270 xpower gaming and got a new 7700k cpu. My problem now is that i have a 2TB crucial ssd which is not being detected. I have a samsung evo 950 512gb ssd in M.2_3 slot which has windows installed and that is detected. The crucial ssd is connected to the sata 2 slot. I've tested that the problem is not the cable or ssd with another pc. I have tried changing the sata slots for the crucial ssd but nothing has worked.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Specs:

MSI Z270 XPower Gaming Titanium
i7 7700k
64GB DDR4 ram
2x GTX 1080 FTW Hybrid Edition
Samsung 950 evo 512gb ssd
2tb Crucial ssd

This might help as I just bought this main board. First check and make sure you are using the correct slot, as only certain combinations of M.2 and SATA work together when you have PCI-E slots filled too. Also, make sure you have the latest BIOS - I had the stock one and it wouldn't even recognize my RAM - Corsair DDR4 3200 and only in single mode too! I think they also updated compatibility with exactly your issue too if I recall. Here's the downloads, load it on a FAT32 and boot into BIOS - see if that helps a fellow out!
