I have recently bought the MSI Z370 A-pro motherboard and quickly realized there are no rgb headers for this mobo and the problem with that is my case comes with 3 included thermaltake rgb fans aswell as my radiator coming with 2 coolermaster rgb fans.

However my case does come with a fan controller on the back I am not sure where I am going to plug the rgb connectors to get the rgb lights on

If anyone can please help me with this I am struggling to find a solution for this and any help will be appreciated

I will link blth my case and mobo

It's one of those moments where you should've bought a case with it's own RGB controller like the Phanteks P400 chassis. Do you think you can return the board for a model which has an RGB header on it? Only fitting since that board is bare minimum and you either have to shell out on a controller(LED) which actually adds more cost to the build or you need to work without RGB or you can return the case and pick one that has it's own controller if you want to hold onto the board.

It's another one of those moments where you should've checked with the forums/www to see if you got the right parts for your intended build. Picking a case that has RGB that needs an RGB header on the motherboard to function isn't a good thing.

You could look into this:

I think if my case is able to control the RGB by itself it will all workout fine because the 2 cooler master fans come with an aio I purchased that also has its own little controller that I believe I can also use to control the rgb case fans and if not I will just have to use it without rgb for a bit until I am able to pick up an rgb controller

Also I don’t think I am going to be able to get a refund from either the board or case as I got both of them as a Christmas present and it would be disrespectful of me to ask for a refund so I can really get a new mobo or case

They come pre attached, and also I am not building the computer yet but this was a problem that came up when I realized my motherboard has no rgb headers but with the cooler master controller I think I will be able to use that but any suggestions will be helpful
