Msi z370 gaming plus with a i5-9600k no display

I just got my cpu to finally be able to upgrade it. Now the new upgraded build isn't displaying anything. I have tested every ram slot with both of the sticks i have. I have also done a bios reset and nothing is helping.
If anyone has any ideas i would be really grateful.

BIOS version 7B61v15 supports the latest 9th generation CPU. You likely need to install a CPU that work with an earlier version BIOS in order to get the system working so you can flash the BIOS.

Gonna test this i don't have a cpu to test this so i just took the mb to a pc help shop and it was cheaper than even buying an older gen cpu.

Well, how did it go? I recently purchased an MSI B360 Gaming Plus mobo, with the exact same CPU and I have the same problem! Is it the lack of support for the 9th generation?

Got it working after the bios was updated.
