Just upgraded to msi z370 and i7 8700k. I got the drivers off the supplied disc and installed via usb. The chipset went on fine however when I go to install realtek driver or intel neither work. When trying realtek I get "The realtek network controller was not found. If deep sleep mode is enable please plug the cable". In device manager I have no title for network adapters unless i show hidden devices which revealed what seemed like irrelevent things.

I tried getting the drivers from the msi site and also had the same message. The ethernet port connection on the mb has a green led when plugged in. When I get home i intend to remove ram for 10mins and see if that helps. I also should note that my bios did recognise a connection and lan port enabled. Any help would be good.

I did not do a clean install. I actually don not have my OS disc so I can put it on a large usb and do a clean install as a last resort I suppose. Im going to pickup a pci network card and see if that offers a solution.
