Question MSI Z370a PRO USB ports not working

I have a MSI Z370a Pro Motherboard running Windows 10 version 1903. None of the USB ports are working. No keyboard, no mouse, nothing. Found an old PS/2 keyboard laying around so that at least works. The USB ports are not even being recognized in the BIOS. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the USB controller in device manager to no avail. At this point i believe the motherboard is bad and has to be replaced.

u could try to reset CMOS
all usb ports are dead? usb 2.0/3.0?

Just reset the CMOS and still there are no USB ports working. I've tried every USB port on the back of the MB and the ones connected to the case.
