Greetings,
lately (since 1 Month) I'm having some issues with my keyboard and mouse where they randomly disconnect.

- Very often, when only the mouse disconnects, it re-connects after usually 5-15 seconds.
Sometimes both the keyboard and mouse disconnect and then I have to reboot the whole PC because they won't work after.

- It mostly happens when I play H1Z1, it also happens twice to 5 times in a match of CS:GO as well when I do something on Photoshop.

---My conclusions are:
-If I violently shake the mouse and cord in the air, nothing happens.

-If I wildly move the mouse around on the mouse pad, it will disconnect for 5-10 seconds after a while, the time needed to disconnect takes from 2 seconds up to 5 minutes (tested it around 20 times, always with the same speed and different DPI, proving that with lower DPI it dies faster)

-My BIOS is up to date.

- It doesn't affect other peripherals plugged into USB ports, I've tried every USB port and it really happens only to the mouse and sometimes to the keyboard as well.

-I do not have an oscillator or a Volt measuring device so I don't know If it's something with my 5V rail. If somehow my 5V rail wouldn't deliver it's necessary minimum of 4,65V for this causing my Mouse and sometimes my keyboard to die, then I guess it should as well kill my Xbox 360 Controller, my WiFi Adapter and also kill the connection between my Pen Drive and PC (Did a test 8 times where everything is plugged in at once, plugging everything different after each test and It is only the mouse that dies mostly, very rarely the keyboard as well.

-I've tried to use USB ports that are not ON-Board (USB 3.0 Ports that are plugged into the Motherboard's USB 3.0 Slot)

-I've updated my mouse's drivers and the USB driver's as well.

-My mouse is this one: http://www.amazon.de/A4Tech-XL-760H-schnurgebunden-Laser-Gaming-Maus/dp/B004DI9L0A

-I haven't tried to plug in other mice and or keyboards and can't afford to buy new ones at the moment because it's looking financially impossible at the moment and I can't ask any of my friends for one because they all have a Laptop.

Please ask any kind of questions, make suggestions, even if they seem stupid in any way.

Yours Truly,

Miro M.

I also have a Fan Controller attached to the motherboard, has never disconnected.

Hi, Miro -

My mouse was recently acting up and here is what I did to fix it:

1) Reboot into Safe Mode
2) Go into Device Mgr.
3) Uninstall ALL USB devices
4) Uninstall ALL HID Compliant devices
5) After all devices are uninstalled, Windows will ask you to reboot. Reboot into normal mode. Windows will reinstall USB and HID devices
6) If your mouse or keyboard have any proprietary drivers, install them now. Reboot if necessary.
