Msi z77a gd55 motherboard crashes when going to bios or trying to load windows

My msi z77a gd55 motherboard will not boot propperly or enter bios it crashes when you see the dash to load windows and crashes when I try to enter bios ( I cant do anything) also the fans get extremely loud and fast when this happens. I've tried every procedure like removing cmos and removing hdd, ram etc but the problem still persists. Everything is shown like the cpu, ram speed but crashes after. Anyone know what to do ?

There is a switch on that motherboard, it has 2 positions. I think it controls an alternate bios. While your computer is off and unplugged - Flip that switch to the other position, then turn on PC and see if it's fixed.

Oh, you are right the GD-65 has a dual bios switch, the GD-55 I think does not. Have you tried using OCgenie button? It may help since it uses alternate bios settings I think. Try that button

Did you try clearing the CMOS using the Clear CMOS button on the Rear I/O panel? I'm not talking about removing the battery.

yes I have but it seems to work normally for a while then crash instantly after I click DELETE or try to boot into windows.

now I tried that and its stuck at entering setup with fans extremely loud.

MSI has a bios update via flash drive option. You will need another computer to prepare the flash drive but you might want to try that

Would I need to enter bios to do this please? Because I can’t even do that.

Please can anyone experienced answer this question? If I swapped then soldered a new bios chip on the motherboard will the problems stop?
