last week I bought a motherboard (msi z87-g45 gaming)(Not new). And today when it was shipped here I opened it and a noticed that one of the pins for socket "LGA1150" was bent off.

when i bought it first, the person I bought it from wrote in the deskription of the web, that it was perfect and had no problem.

I don´t know what to do, I will contact him, but I really want it because I bought it for good price and I want to fix it if possible?
Any Help Please!?

In theory the pin can be bent back into place, but unless it's exactly right, and none of the other pins around it are just that little bit off, your machine won't work. It's quite a risk to take; I would return the board if I were in your place, but that's a personal opinion.

I do know people who have straightened pins with a needle-nose pliers, but I consider it hit-or-miss. And since then pins have gotten closer together. Plus, if it was damaged in shipping, other pins may be less obviously out of whack. He may have sent you a perfectly good board that got damaged on the way over.

I also believe (personal opinion here) that it is possible for powering up a bent-pin configuration to fry the motherboard or the CPU. It's unlikely. The wrong thing would have to be touching just the wrong thing. But it's happened.
